svn: Connection closed unexpectedly

C:\Temp>svn checkout svn+ssh://server/var/svn/repos/wxplay wxplay
svn: Connection closed unexpectedly

C:\Temp>

This is what I get when I try to checkout a project from my repositary remotely. I have changed the server name just to be safe :)
It also happens with the other repositary in that computer (@ /Repos/etc)

Things I know.

1) That path is correct.
2) The user (as defined in the 'plink' key in the registry) has access to the repo, and can checkout/commit etc locally.
3) svn (and the necessary tunnel keys in the registry) is set up correctly, I am accessing other repositaries on other 'remote' systems (local area network as apposed to over the 'net propper).

I get other, different, messages when I try the same command from a unix box (unfortunatly I can't remember the mesages right now).

Where can I go from here, how can I find out whats causing the connection to close?

Any help is apreciated.

Anthony
