I'd suggest the following format:

1. Describe some situation

2. List an example set of svn commands used in the situation.

3. List a set of hypothetical svn commands using revision-labels to
accomplish the same task as section 2.

If section 3 is much simpler / more appropriate than section 2, you will
have proved the point.
