This is an outstanding point, I can't believe I have missed that one. It
is just another good reason why not inventing a special UI and metadata
makes sense. By using the single system, all features are present,
including a history of who created the tag and when, not to mention what
later changes might be done to the tag. Do CVS tags have these features?
I am assuming not. I know that PVCS does not have them.
