Just another data point: my company switched to Subversion from CVS
about four months ago, with a trial period beginning a few months before
that. We converted four years of CVS history with cvs2svn. Our
repository has almost 33,000 revisions, with an average of about 50
commits per day from about 20 committers. We've never had a problem
with a wedged repository.
