compile problem: "APR_MD5_DIGESTSIZE" undefined

I'm trying to compile subversion on an HP-UX platform. I get the following
error:
cc: "/home/mlangas/subversion-1.0.6/subversion/mod_dav_svn/liveprops.c", line
458: error 1588: "APR_MD5_DIGESTSIZE" undefined.

I googled the problem and found a few references to a patch that I think
corrects this issue, but I was unable to locate the patch itself. Has anyone
else seen this issue before and if so, is there a workaround?
