Suggestion (and request for ideas) regarding a HOW-TO FAQ for the Subversion site

We have a question that applies to most development teams (it's not on
the tigris::subversion::FAQ, but could be a good addition)

How can a team generate release notes for all changes between to
Subversion revisions? Assume that many files have changed by several
developers between revisions.

We've been able to generate XML output of subversion log messages, and
import into MS Access to generate reports. But, we have had difficulty
to identify only those log messages that fall within two specific
revisions. (We have mixed Linux/Windows dev environment).

Part of the problem is that some developers create log messages (via
commit -m "my message") at the file level deep in the project tree. And,
other developers create log messages at the top-level directory for a
project.

Any advice would be GREATLY appreciated. This would be a good HOW-TO FAQ
for the Subversion site.

Thank you for making Subversion a great tool!
