Usually whenever TortoiseSVN craps out in a working copy, I just use the
command line tools to continue whatever operation I was attempting, and it
seems to work itself back into a useable state. Why don't you try that
before you re-check out?

I just tried to add "overlib" to my working directory (a new directory with
a number of files). A couple minutes later (before the commit), I found out
that the version I had added had a bug in it and I reverted to an earlier
version.

Now I'm unable to do any kind of TortoiseSVN operations on the directory and
am not certain what to do, have I completely hosed my working directory with
this?

Attempts to update: "Working copy '\\phalanx\web' locked"
Attempts to revert: "Working copy '\\phalanx\web' locked"
Attempts to cleanup: "'//phalanx/web/overlib' is not a working copy
directory"

I did try to re-add the directory to subversion, but got an empty result
with no effect.

I'm beginning preparations to re-check out my working directory if I have
to...
