proxy,my dear enemy

I would like to use SVN behind a FreeProxy on latitude:8080
I set

[global]
# http-proxy-exceptions = *.exception.com, www.internal-site.org
http-proxy-host = latitude
http-proxy-port = 8080

in servers and

paolino@/home/paolino svn co svn://svn.twistedmatrix.com/svn/Twisted/trunk
Twisted

gives

svn: hostname nor servname provided, or not known
svn: Unknown hostname 'svn.twistedmatrix.com'
