Our clients are windows xp clients and the use TortoiseSVN as front-end.

Three repositories are located on the server. The biggest one makes trouble
every day. It becomes slower and slower. The command "svnlook tree" needs
then more than one hour.

I hope that these information are helpful, to solve our problem.

This is not normal. The size of the repository doesn't make it "slower",
and you should never need to run recovery. Perhaps you should give us more
details about OS, svn version, setup, configuration, and symptoms.
