Several Windows Apps have problems at the 2GB limit. As an anecdote, one of
my coworkers recently spent half a day recovering our boss' Outook mailbox
because no warnings were issued near that mark... and I stopped using a
Windows share for my backups when it started corrupting my >2GB bzipped
cpios.
