loading a dump file with revision gaps, possible?

hello,

We have had some hardware problems coupled with some negligence from my side; that
has created a corrupt repository. I have been able to recover dumpfiles for almost all
revisions but I have a corrupted revision that I have to create a hole around. I will have
2 dump files:
        Rev. 1-720
        Rev. 723-1035

Revision 721 is corrupt with no possible recovery...

Can I concatenate these 2 files and receive a somewhat working repository? I understand
that it will act very strange around revision 721 but will it work?

Is there a way to replay the commit(s) around Revision 721 if I have all the logs? There are some 20000 logs
in the db directory and 5 or 6 "__db*" files. Can this help me in my case?

Thanks for any answer!

Kind Regards
Fredrik Svensson
