I double-checked for that when I first built Apache to make sure nothing had gone wrong... so yes, it's there. (in /usr/local/lib)

OK... then Subversion is doing something funny during the build process, because I certainly didn't move them around on my own. After dumping all of those object files into the libsvn package, everything worked fine; however, I'm quite at a loss to explain why they would not have been put there in the first place. Is this perhaps a SuSE-specific issue, or... ?
