There's a whole chapter in the svn book about setting up apache 2.0 to
double as as a 'subversion server'. See chapter 6 at
svnbook.red-bean.com.

Alternately, you can use a standalone subversion server ('svnserve')
instead of apache. Also discussed in chapter 6.
