RE: Subversion minor mode for Emacs

I travelled this path some weeks (months?) ago now. Yes, the vc-svn.el in
the Subversion doesn't work (I can't remember why - too long ago).

I *believe* that the vc-svn.el in the Emacs CVS repository has been written
to work with the rest of the code in the current CVS tip i.e. the version
control packages/interface has seen a fairly major shake-up (I think) and
you can't just download that single file and incorporate it into your Emacs
21.3 (or whatever) release.

I then attempted to download the CVS tip and re-build - but I use Cygwin to
build Emacs from source (I attempt to keep as many Microsoft packages as I
can away from my computer - so I don't have their C compiler) and it fell
over quite early in the build process - so I gave up :-)

FWIW - Goodluck :-)

Yes, I was just pointed to that by private email. Unfortunately I can't
seem to make it work. I've downloaded the vc-svn.el from the Emacs CVS
repository and installed it. It loads fine after altering a "defalias"
but no matter what I try to do (diff, log, etc) I get the error:
"Symbol's definition is void: [some symbol]".
