PROPFIND error (Mthod not allowed)

From: Pep <pep_at_ticketweb.co.uk>

Having major problems trying to get the svn:// protocol working I decided to
try the http:// protocol.

And I still get problems, the following message occurs whether I use the
command on the subversion server or from a remote client

svn: PROPFIND of '/usr/local/subversion/trunk/projectx': 405 Method Not
Allowed (http://192.168.106.2)

Yet I can browse the subverion repository using a web browser!

So what gives?

Subversion is useless for me if I can only use the file:// protocol.

How do I get subversion to work for remote maintenance?

Cheers,
Pep.
