Thanks a lot for the insight, Delbert. It was with .37/1.0.1 indeed. I
had posted it without any reply, so I booked it under the several
issues I either ignore or circumvent by avoiding the respective
functions.

Since we are under Windows setting the eol style was just a
precaution for the tiny chance of adding a Linux client/server some
day. Good to know it works now. Though Homesite has settings
for PC/Mac/*nix style eol and SciTE handles these anyway (doing
HTML stuff here).

Else I have set mime auto-props for about every file type here, that
way there should be no trouble with eol style.
