G'day Lee,
No idea if this is "standard" or "best practice" but what I did was
create a "repositories" directory under the home directory of my
"subversion" user, and created all of my repositories in there. I'm
only using a single access method though (svnserve) so this may not be
appropriate if you're providing multiple access methods (eg. Apache,
ssh etc.) which run under different user accounts.
