connection is read-only

Dear All,

in my environment the server is on a w2k computer i ran svnserve with -d
-r d:\svnrepos options

on another computer (win xp) i can check out the file locally
after i modified an excel file try to commit, the system says:

D:\Temp\5\create_status>svn commit -m "modi 3"
svn: Commit failed (details follow):
svn: Connection is read-only

please help me!
