I continued to try to solve my problem, but with no success ...

Last try : I tried it under Windows XP Pro with TortoiseSVN. I already had a
working copy. I did an update ok, then I tried to delete a file from the
wrking copy. The commit failed with "can't recode string" and since then, I
cannot commit or update in that working copy.

I cannot understand how the LOCALE (or whatever under windows) is working to
do the update, but then not working to delete a file that has just been
updated ...

I can give you a dump of my repository (but it is about 300Mo) if that can
help ...

Again, I'm open to ALL suggestions ...
