RE: directories failing to be removed

Figured it out. When a directories contents have changed an update command
has to be issued before the directory can be committed.

Considering I posted the sequence of commands from the beginning, if the
people who responded had actually bothered to look and actually knew what
could cause a directory not to commit you should have seen an update command
had not been issued.
