The db environment seems to be corrupt, but that is just a set of control files that BDB uses to organize its access to the
databases. "rm src/db/__db.00*" restored proper access to the db for me, and allowed me to dump 491 revisions.

You should remove your unused database logfiles, though. Some of them seem corrupt - a catastrophic recovery using only logfiles
failed.
