This would be the case, however I'm not sharing the Repository, only the
working copy. From the FAQ...

"A working copy, however, can be stored on a NFS server..."

I understand there are philosophical arguments against sharing working
copies, and there may be line ending issues, but I'm just running tests
now and want to confirm what I'm trying is *possible* before continuing.
It doesn't seem that I should be getting the error message listed in my
original message.
