Thanks to everyone who replied to my question about svn up on a file that had
just been svn added to the repos.

I'm surprised that svn doesn't support such a basic feature of a version
control system as updating a file that has just been added to the repos.

For those who recommended turning off recursion: I only want to do one file,
and the dir has many files, so that won't help. It seems to me that updating
all the files in a dir in order to update one file is not only dangerous, but
also goes against the idea of having version control.

For those who recommended doing an svn up/co http://... I tried and it doesn't
work.
