buggy checkout

Hello,

It seems that every time I try to check out a friend's project, it
always fails the first time with the same error.

[msoulier_at_tigger projects]$ svn co https://hld.ca/svn/open/trunk/ctw ctw
A ctw/screenshots
svn: No such file or directory
svn: svn_io_file_open: can't open 'ctw/screenshots/.svn/entries'

If I then repeat, it's fine. That suggests a bug in svn to me. Could
anyone confirm if this is a known problem?
