Gmane already maintains an NNTP shadow to this list. It's a bit like a
forum, but without slow web pages and ads!

What about combining the forum with the mailing list. Ie different
interfaces for the same thing.

I like the idea of a discussion forum - I think they seem to have a lower
intimidation factor than mailing lists and thus more people are inclined to
ask (or answer!) questions... I know I feel that way at times. :)

As for forum suggestions, judging by list traffic, I think it would improve
the s/n ratio if the setup/troubleshooting forum was broken down into
specific fora for Windows and *nix platforms, as well as organize
information better. It might also be worthwhile to include a contributions
forum... ?

That's my $0.02 CDN...
