You could probably break up the setup/trouble-shooting issue further into apache vs svnserve and definitely separate topics for repository organization and pre/post commit hooks scripts as well.

I like the idea of a discussion forum - I think they seem to have a
lower intimidation factor than mailing lists and thus more people are
inclined to ask (or answer!) questions... I know I feel that way at
times. :)

As for forum suggestions, judging by list traffic, I think it would
improve the s/n ratio if the setup/troubleshooting forum was broken
down into specific fora for Windows and *nix platforms, as well as
organize information better. It might also be worthwhile to include a
contributions forum... ?

That's my $0.02 CDN...
