svn: Unexpected end of svndiff input

Any ideas? We've been using svn for a while now without problems, so
I'm not sure what could cause this... These are matlab files saved by
the matlab editor on mac os x.

The differencing algorithm doesn't care about line endings, correct?
Any ideas?
