RE: Weird problem during initial checkout

*sigh* and just as I procedeed to try this on Win32 it bombed out again. But
it took longer
than usually.

I can definately say that this is reproducable, and it's got to do with
http-compression being turned on.
If http-compression is turned off everything works. I've got a Subversion
server 1.0.4 from Davids
RPMs on a redhat 9.0 machine (that implies apache 2.0.48). Checking out
using the command
line client on linux, either locally or remote, works, but using Win32
commandline client version
1.0.4 stops the checkout first time after 92 MB, seconds time after 19 MB.
It appears a large enough repository might be needed to trigger the event.

[several minutes long timeout here]
svn: REPORT request failed on '/svn/k2/!svn/vcc/default'
svn: The REPORT request returned invalid XML in the response: XML parse
error at line 19855: no elem
ent found (/svn/k2/!svn/vcc/default)

Apache server logs report the access and deflate module reports packages
ratios but there are
no errors reported. Looks like apache thinks that the transfer went well.
Logs inline below.

This sure looks like a bug to me. Should this be reported? Is something
similar already found?

Hi all.

I have today upgraded to Davids 1.0.4 RPMs and to my great joy I can no
longer
reproduce the error I had. Whatever was done somewhere inbetween 1.0.3 and
1.0.4
fixed my error, thanks!

/Nicke
