Can't recode string

Platform: Debian Linux testing
Version 1.04 of server & client

I'm trying to add a file with a French character in its name
(Outlook_CSV_-_Français), however I get the error "svn: Can't recode
string". I have LC_CLANG set to en_GB. Setting it to fr doesn't help.

Any suggestions? Thanks,
