RE: Idea for dealing with text-file line endings

From: Jack Ivey <ivey_at_altair.com>

I would support changing the eol-style-on-binary-file error message to a
warning (and then not applying the property, of course). This effectively
allows autodetection of binaries wrt both mime-type and eol instead of just
mime-type. It might even silence a lot of the complaints about maintaining
the autoprops configuration.

Of course this scheme would work even better if the autoprops
file behaved deterministically wrt files matching multiple rules *grin*.

Thanks,
Jack
