Delta source ended unexpectedly.

I just tried performing an update from my SVN repo and received "Delta
source ended unexpectedly". I searched the archives and found that I could
fix it by removing and rechecking out the working directory. This worked,
but isn't there a way to do it without going through that whole process?
This resulted in me having to bring back 50 megs worth of data.
