svnadmin dump stalls

Okay, so we discussed some time ago that my subversion was a bit
out-of-date. Things have finally settled down enough now that I can
safely do an upgrade. The only trouble is, I can't seem to dump my
repository. Out of 406 revisions, it manages to stall right after
revision 18 (a measly 531K, for those keeping score at home). I'm not out
of disk space. I'm only using 3.4GB out of a total of 56.5GB on
this partition. I am correctly using the OLD svnadmin to do the dump. I
can't think of what else I might be doing wrong.

So, what gives? Any recommendations? If this turns into a "you're going
to have to check the whole thing out, destroy your repository, and build
it again from scratch" situation, I'm going to be one grumpy girl!

Tess
