ok, I think to get it: Since a colleague of mine was working on his
branch, the version number changed. Hence, my project was not at HEAD
anymore. Does this mean, I have to run larger changes only during the
night -- or always set the repository read-only?

Again, while the server (2.8GHz, 2GB RAM, 10krpm HD) is under heavy
load because several contributors are checking/moving larger pieces of
code, I cannot put a job to run and just let the job complete no
matter how long it will take? Are there any timeout parameters I can
set to infinity or so?

Thanks!

wbr,
Lukas
