Changeing the commited file in a hook?

          Hi again!

I would need a little help to write a (pre)-commit-hook for
subversion: I want to write a hook that calls/uses a
source-code beautifier (depending on the files MIME-type eg.
C,c++,java to astyle and xml a xml-indenter) and then
 actually commits the beautified file.

Is this possible? How would be the way I want to do this?

          thanks,

  Christoph

Ps: sorry if this mail should come twice.
