subversion book - guided tour - repository creation missing

Hi,

reading the guided tour and trying out subversion, I
discovered, that the tour starts with
svn checkout http://svn.collab.net/repos/svn/trunk

Maybe the tour should start with creating a local
repository and starting svnserve (which is not
difficult, imho), as there might be people who are not
continually connected to the web.
