[ANN] subversionctl 1.0

Just wanted to let you all know about a script I've put together called

It's basically a modification of apachectl -- subversionctl provides easy
management of a daemonized svnserve process. In addition, it creates and
keeps track of an svnserve pid file, and optionally starts up svnserve as an
unprivileged user that you specify in the the script configuration.

I put this together because I wanted subversion to run as a daemon process
on my Mac OS X Server box ... So, I've also included the OS X StartupItem I
wrote around subversionctl.

I hope this is useful to someone else! Subversion team, please feel free to
include this in any future distribution of Subversion if you feel it may be
useful to that many others.

(Note: This script is intended for *nix-type operating systems -- I
seriously doubt it'll have any usefulness for the Windows users among us.)

Questions/comments/bugs welcomed -- though probably off-list to
clay@killersoft.com is best for those.
