As I said in my first email, this is my configure script:

export LDFLAGS='-pthreads'

./configure --with-apxs \
        --with-berkeley-db=/usr/local \
        --with-zlib \
        --with-ssl=/usr/local \
        --with-apr=/usr/local \
        --with-apu-util=/usr/local | tee config.log
