Anyway, I hate to tell you this, but I'm on a project
that will probably last 3 years and involve several
hundred people, and we've decided to go with Subversion.

My bad - when some users complained about CVS, I told
them to evaluate Subversion and see if it was ready for
prime time. I probably should have evaluated SVN myself,
since the guys who evaluated SVN initially did not know
much about VC and CM.

So, I'm probably stuck with SVN for a few years.

(I would have used BitKeeper - I'm friends with several
of the BitKeeper developers - except that BitKeeper's
license is somewhat objectionable to somebody who likes
to be able to work on Free Software.  I.e. I said that
if they chose BitKeeper, I would have to leave the company.)
