RE: Cannot back up "strings" file (revisited)

Bad news. (Hopefully not catastrophic).

I tried to do a dump of my repository. It got up to revision 25 (of 40),
and then I get the following error:

"svn: Berkeley DB error while reading string for filesystem
SVNRepository/db:
Input/output error"

How bad is this? Is my repository dead?

Did you try and re-import a dump/export of your repository into a freshly
created one, and copy/paste the newly created strings file?
