It more or less works. Connect is successful right now but now I get the
error message that the connection was closed by the server and when I take a
look in apache's error_log, I can read that a "child has exited with a
segfault".

However I assume that this is not a problem of Subversion but rather a
problem of my configuration.
Is it correct (Suse 9.0, apache2-prefork) to use
./configure --with-apxs=/usr/sbin/apxs2

?!

And/ or how can I get more information on what exactly segfaulted?! I'm
already at debug log level for apache2...

regs,

Stephan
