Subversion on CMCrossroads.com or StickyMinds.com? (was Re: 'Subversion' group in Yahoo Groups!)

Is there interest in a forum being setup for Subversion
at www.CMCrossroads.com?

CMCrossroads.com does host several tool-specific forums,
and in some cases it is the official forum for that tool,
while in other cases (such as ClearCase and Perforce, who host
their own user forums) it is merely an additional forum.

I do some editing for cmcrossroads.com - and now that Subversion
is past the v1.0 milestone, I personally would like to see it
get a lot more visibility, and I think CMCrossroads would be
one very good, highly visible place to do it. At the very least,
I would like to see announcements of new major SVN releases (e.g.,
1.0, 1.1) go to the "announcement" forum there, and to see some
occasional articles in the monthly CMCrossroads newsletter/magazine

Whether or not there would be any additional benefit (or
disadvantage) to having an SVN forum there (it already has
a CVS forum I think) is another matter that I would pose to
you folks reading this. If the consensus is that it would,
I can help make it happen. If the consensus is otherwise,
I won't pursue it any further.

While I'm at it, if anyone feels they have some good
Subversion-related articles and resources they would like to
see referenced from the Stickyminds.com "CM Zone" - feel free
to visit http://stickyminds.com/configurationmanagement.asp and
click on the "submit" item on the top right (I think you might
have to register as a stickymninds.com member, which is free).

Cheers!
