Emacs: Tramp and vc-svn.el

Hi,

I installed the vc-svn.el from the current subversion source
(contrib/client-side) and tried to use it with Tramp, using a multi-hop
method. VC then fails with the following output:

svn:
'/multi:ssh:wrobel@server:su:root@localhost:su:private@localhost:/home/private/devel/sitebar/branches/sitebar'
is not a working copy

I assume the problem is the "vc-svn-run-status"-function because it does
not use "vc-do-command". I could try to modify the function but wanted
to ask first whether there exists a version of vc-svn.el that works with
Tramp.
