no repository found?

Looking for a little help here.

Until yesterday I was able to access my svn repository via the svn
protocol. Now all of a sudden it isn't working. Example:

$ svn co svn://192.168.0.1 L:\test_repos
svn: No repository found in 'svn://192.168.0.1'

The repository itself seems fine. I can do anything else I want with it,
including checking out a copy via file:///. The svnserve process is
running. It is listening on port 3690. I can telnet to that port and get
as a response: ( success ( 1 2 ( ANONYMOUS ) ( edit-pipeline ) ) ).

svnserve was started with the command: svnserve -d -r "L:\skysite\svn".
This has always worked in the past.

My system is w2k running on a dual-proc intel L440GX+ board with lots o
RAM, sp2, please query additional system information and I'll provide.

thanks in advance
spark
