One "cheap and dirty" way would be to put it in the /etc/hosts file, e.g.

192.168.1.110 subversion subversion.domain

and then make sure the /etc/resolv.conf files have 'order hosts,bind' so
that the hosts file is used before DNS. Depending on how many clients you
have to muss with, this might be less work.
