Well, when I look at dmesg and /var/log/messages, there are places where
it mentions that there are disk problems. Maybe it's possible that the
disk is starting to have problems. It's awful strange though, that it
has only started to have problems since I started use svn... Maybe it's
just coincidence...
I had the system fix the errors and tried to checkout everything again
with the same outcome as before.
[xyz@rogdrake tmp]$ svn checkout
file:///home/xyz/svn/repositories/windss/trunk .
svn: Berkeley DB error while committing Berkeley DB transaction for
filesystem /home/xyz/svn/repositories/windss/db:
DB_RUNRECOVERY: Fatal error, run database recovery
Aborted
I am unable to run the recovery as myself, I have to run it as root.
[root@rogdrake tmp]# svnadmin recover /home/xyz/svn/repositories/windss
Please wait; recovering the repository may take some time...
Recovery completed.
The latest repos revision is 2.
Then when I attempt to do the checkout again, I get the same results...
[xyz@rogdrake tmp]$ svn checkout
file:///home/xyz/svn/repositories/windss/trunk .
svn: Berkeley DB error while committing Berkeley DB transaction for
filesystem /home/xyz/svn/repositories/windss/db:
DB_RUNRECOVERY: Fatal error, run database recovery
Aborted
Like I said before, it's strange that I keep having disk type errors...
Oh, btw, here is the command I use to start the server...
svnserve --daemon --root /home/xyz/svn/repositories
