Backup System on Windows Cannot Read "Strings" File

Hi,

  I read the FAQ, searched the user manual, Googled, but no luck.

  I use Subversion on a Windows XP system connected to a network. I have a
local Subversion repository on my local hard disk. Our network
administrators use backup software to perform automatic backups of our
systems every night (the backup software is Connected TLM if it makes any
difference).

  Anyway, the backup always seems to fail when it tries to backup the
"strings" file in my local repository (c:\repos\db\strings), returning an
error message saying it cannot read the file.

  Is there something that I need to do to allow backups to be made of my
repository (e.g., stop some process from running, etc.)?
