Differences between subversion and CVS

Hi all,

Can anyone explain in brief what is the difference between Subversion
and CVS? What we cannot do in CVS which is possible in Subversion.

I will go through the documentation later, this is to include in one PPT
presentation, sorry for the inconvenience, thanks.
