Connect problem

Hi There!

I build, install, configure my Subversion server,
but I cannot connect to it from the net.

I use svnserve binded to repository with -r,
--listen-host=on.host --listen-port=3690. I can do
all the things from the local console, but if I
want to connect from the world, I got the
following error:

svn: Can't connect to host 'on.host'

I don't use firewall. nmap says, the port 3690 is
open. What I missed?

Thanks:
        ZsoltK

ps.: I use Subversion 1.0.0 on Slackware 9.1 with
kernel 2.6.2-rc2, BerkeleyDB 4.0.14
