svn wrapper

Congratulation to the 1.0 SVN baby and parents !
We will switch from CVS latter or soonner.

Has somebody experienced a SVN wrappers (using the Apache server is maybe
the best) to make some transformation between local files and commited
files ?

For instance, we are using OpenOffice.org documents and would only commit
part of the zipped XML archive, mainly the content+base64coded binaries to
get benefits of text diff/merge and SVN keywords visible in documents.The
zip/unzip and other transformation have to be done before a commit and
after an update.
Hook scripts seems only to work for commit, not for update.
