Yup. That would appear to be the problem. It also seems like it could
be rather painful -- especially the keywords issue.

As a wider issue, though, it seems that if you added something without
the eol-style hack, and add the eol-style property later, you probably
can get into similar trouble to the trouble I just mentioned.

Perhaps if eol-style is set to native, diff on the repository machine
should be cognizant of it and should deliberately ignore line endings
when doing diffs so as to avoid messes?
